Sapphire Edge HD2 Mini PC Review
The BIOS that is included on the Edge HD2 is very basic and typical of what’s to expect from a device like this. In a day and age that is ever-increasing in terms of UEFI BIOS, we feel that it is a bit unnecessary and aplaud the fact that a simple old-school style BIOS was used instead.
In terms of what settings are on offer, users will find full information on the CPU configuration which displays the speed, amount of cores and cache levels included on the Atom D525.
Other than that, the rest of the BIOS is very simple, and not many settings are needed to be changed to get things working.
Did you look at the Mini PC in terms of video playback. This type of PC is the perfect size to be used as a Windows Media Center Playback device. Will it play back 1080P video for instance.
Yes, we did mention it slightly as PCMark does utilise the playback of video and it scored quite low, and in the conclusion we mentioned that HD playback was terrible and very jittery.
Thanks, I must have missed that as I was skimming the article. I guess I was just being lazy and looking for a separate tab for video playback.
Great review, original nail polish on the box as well lol
eh? You’ve lost me, nail polish?
