Sapphire has announced yet another card from the HD 6800 series with the Radeon HD 6850 2GB.
This new graphics card is powered by 960 stream processors and 48 texture units clocked at 775MHz while the memory, which is now doubled to 2GB of GDDR5 as the name suggests, is clocked at 1000MHz (4Gbps effective).
The card is composed of a blue PCB with a black cooler and is equipped with a single fan from Sapphire.

According to Sapphire, the larger memory should help in demanding applications as well as specific graphical demands, e.g. large texture maps and the likes.
Already available in Europe, the Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 is price at €146.40.
