Dirt 2
The physics engine from within Dirt 2 is a good test of a card and it’s rendering capabilities with fine details such as dust trailing from the rear of the car. There is also the aspect of light and reflections from the cars bodywork and the ability to work with the in game physics and damage rendering engines to produce a realistic gaming experience.
- Resolution: 1920 x 1080
- Preset: Ultra
- MSAA: 4x
- AF: 16x
Dirt 2 was always an extreme benchmark, and we were quite dubious about how this card was going to perform, but at 29.9FPS, the results are nothing to be laughed at. We aim for a solid 30FPS in our tests, as this generally shows no lag or stuttering in gaming and this card handled that extremely well.
