Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB Graphics Card Review
Packaging
The Sapphire 6670 comes in a blue and purple box with its name, memory size and primary features listed on the front, including the announcement of an artic cooling solution made for cool and silent temperature control, and its ability for Eyefinity gaming, DX11, AMD HD3D, and display port usage.
The back of the box includes highlights of the card, including a small paragraph about the dual use of this card for both productivity and PC gaming lifestyles. The right hand side of the back is decorated with multiple icons of the highlights and brief sentence of each including items about 3D Stereoscopic support, Power management Eyfinity/Multi-Display abilites, HDMI support, and advanced memory among many others. It also has a small area in the bottom right telling about the over 2500 awards sapphire has received from different review sites since 2002.
One side has the specifications for the card along with system requirements while the top and side have the words and Sapphire logo with Radeon HD 6670 written with it.
The packaging of the card itself contains an recycled egg crate type box with a sapphire logo stamped into the mold. Opening top part of the crate packaging reveals the internal paperwork, parts and of the course the graphics card itself.
The card was wrapped in an anti-static bag with bubble air cushioning to keep the card safe and secure in shipping.
That's not bad, good for a HTPC, but I don't think you should be expecting it to do eyefinity at that price…
Good review, sounds good for those on a budget who will have a lower res monitor screen. There are so many cards on the market these days is very hard to choose between them.
Agreed. So many cards to pick from these days… I was fortunate to win a Gigabyte HD 5830 video card from a contest this month: GIGABYTE – Graphics Card – ATI – PCI Express Solution – Radeon HD 5000 series – GV-R583UD-1GDI know it's a much older model and needs lots of juice to run but it's free and more than I could ask for… considering I'm not a hardcore gamer. I'm one step closer to completing more first ever build with this card 🙂
i know sapphire's blue PCB is their trademark thing, but i wish everybody would just switch to black PCB's. makes things look so much better!
I have one of these and everything this guy says is true , it is fantastic value for money.
