Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB Graphics Card Review

A Closer Look
The card itself is pretty small with a silver fin cooler and a black artic cooling fan on top. The fan has the Sapphire logo in blue on a iridescent silver background, with another iridescent sticker on the display port cap. A lot of the circuit board is exposed in this model, allowing for case cooling bringing significant airflow to other components.

Some of the first things You’ll notice is their is no additional power inputs and no crossfire bridge connectors, that is because the card supports a plug-n-play CrossfireX solution without the need for ribbons and draws all the power needed from the PCI Express slot.

Sapphire has gone with the Jade (Green/Blue) colored Printed Circuit Board.

The Arctic Cooling fan takes up most of the circuit board and doesn’t exhaust out like most higher end performance cards, which to be honest wasn’t a problem anyways due to low standard temperatures with this card.

Connections include HDMI 1.4a , Display Port 1.2, and Dual Link DVI connector.

  1. That's not bad, good for a HTPC, but I don't think you should be expecting it to do eyefinity at that price…

  2. Good review, sounds good for those on a budget who will have a lower res monitor screen. There are so many cards on the market these days is very hard to choose between them.

Agreed. So many cards to pick from these days… I was fortunate to win a Gigabyte HD 5830 video card from a contest this month: GIGABYTE – Graphics Card – ATI – PCI Express Solution – Radeon HD 5000 series – GV-R583UD-1GDI know it's a much older model and needs lots of juice to run but it's free and more than I could ask for… considering I'm not a hardcore gamer. I'm one step closer to completing more first ever build with this card 🙂

  4. i know sapphire's blue PCB is their trademark thing, but i wish everybody would just switch to black PCB's. makes things look so much better!
