Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB Graphics Card Review

Picking a video card in today’s age is a tough decision, amongst all the choices of not only manufacturers, but also models. Sapphire has proven to fellow reviewers and me to be a name that can be not only be trusted in terms of support and customer service, but depended upon when it comes the newest technology available.

They have great knowledge of cooling, are experienced making significant other products such as motherboards/ power supplies, and are truly innovative when considering exclusive technologies such as the FleX technology.
Sapphire recently announced the lineup for what appears to be the remaining lineup of the 6000 series cards, highlighting amongst them the replacement to the 5770, the 6670 which is based on the 40nm Turks XT eagerly shooting for OEM builds and do it yourself budget builders who are looking for a solution that can handle medium level gaming, yet support all the features needed for productivity and recreational video watching.

The Sapphire 6670 compared to the 5770 of old offers lower voltages and temperatures, and should be appealing to those looking for something a bit more in the performance range then that of the entry level graphics cards. The Sapphire 6670 has 2 options for Gddr5 memory and comes with either a 512mb or 1GB model, making it an ideal choice for users whose primary focus may not be gaming, but want to keep their options open should they decide they want to get some game time in. I also see this card as the beginning of bringing those lost in the console world into the realm of PC gaming, and I anticipate those that make leap will realize what they have been lacking both graphic wise and game wise from the console specs of gaming graphics of yesteryear.
