Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 Ultimate 1GB Graphics Card Review

PackagingThe Sapphire 6670 comes in a blue and white box with grey exerior borders on top and bottom. its name, memory size and primary features listed on the front, including the added features of a silent no fan solution, being bundled with a 1.8 meter HDMI cord and our package included a complimentary DIRT 3 Game code inside. The Ultimate word on the front is emblazened with blue flames coming out. It has badges on the outside for the AMD Radeon Graphics, and AMD Gaming Evolved, it also highlights the features of expanded field of view Eyefinity gaming, 7.1 surround sound capabilities and full DirectX 11 support. The right and left hand side of the box both include information logos for Sapphire, The bold words HD 6670 and the AMD Radeon Logo at the bottom.

The back of the box includes highlights of the card, including a small paragraph about the 5th generation award winning heatpipe technology. It is also decorated with multiple icons of the highlights and brief sentence of each including items about The paragraph goes on to explain other rich features such as AMD’s second generation of DX 11 suppport, AMD accelerated Parallel processing, Eyfinity/Multi-Display abilities, HDMI capabilities, and even support for Display port 1.2. The back of the box also has a small area in the bottom right telling about the over 2500 awards Sapphire has received from different review sites since 2002, and for the eco-friendly conscious people out there, it also includes a small blurb about Sapphire’s thoughtfulness for the environment by using 100% paper for inner and outer packaging.

The top also includes the same as the side but written horizontally across box for easy shelf recognition.

The bottom of the box is where the specifications are listed, as well as the UPC information.

The packaging of the card itself contains a cardboard box with a flip top lid. Opening top part of the crate packaging reveals the internal paperwork, parts and of the course the graphics card itself cushioned by a small piece of Styrofoam to keep it safe during transport. The card was wrapped in an anti-static bag with bubble air cushioning to keep the card safe and secure in shipping.
