Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 FleX Edition 2GB Graphics Card Review
The front of the box gives off quite a flashy feel with the typical bunch of logos down towards the bottom explaining what key features it has of AMD’s. Being a FleX edition card shows the support the card has for 3 and 5 monitor Eyefinity configurations and is also worth noting that the card has 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
The rear of the packaging talks through FleX and what it’s all about and also includes a rundown on the key make-up of the card including the ability for CrossFireX technology.
Taking a look inside, we find nothing out of the ordinary with a driver installation CD, quick install guide, Sapphire Select Club leaflet and case badge sticker. What does differ with this bundle are the choice of cables as we find two Molex to PCI-Express adapters, Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort converter, DVI to HDMI, DVI to VGA adapter and HDMI cable allowing plenty of different monitor arrangements straight out of the box.
I’m sorry, but your graphics that show benchmark numbers are a little misleading, it appears that the leading card in the benchmark has totally blown the others away, but in reality the numbers differ slightly.
Due to the scale you mean?
Yeah, I don’t find them too misleading, but I think that’s what he means.
I think you have made a mistake on the outputs on the rear I/O bracket. Those two mini connectors on the left look like mini DP connectors, not HDMI. Also see here on the manufacturer page http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/…
A slight mishap on my behalf but changed now. Sorry for any confusion.
Great review, the position of the PCIe power connector seems perfect!
Although for the acoustics graph, isn’t the name wrong?
