Moving over to Call Of Duty at 1440p and we’re now hitting 169 frames per second. This puts it 2% faster than the 4080 SUPER, though COD is known to favour AMD, so take from that what you will. This also inflates things against the 4070 Ti SUPER, where the GRE comes in 20% faster, but what this means for apples-to-apples comparisons is that the GRE is 14% faster than the 7800 XT and falls just 7% behind the 7900 XT so some pretty impressive numbers for the price.
Going up the ranks to 4K and while we see a performance drop to 101 FPS, that still means we’re only 8% slower than the 7900 XT and 6% slower than the 4080 SUPER which has found some extra performance. We’re now also seeing 17% faster performance than the more expensive 4070 Ti and in the same realms of performance as an RTX 4080 non-SUPER, which is quite an achievement.
