As we mentioned earlier you get a backplate, Intel brackets, AMD brackets and a wrench.
Furthermore there are four LGA 2011 locking screws, four Intel/AMD locking screws, four bracket attachment screws, four backplate spacers, four bracket screw threads and four locking knuts to secure the bracket screw threads.
Firstly you must install the brackets to the CPU cooler base and then add the screw threads, these are locked in place by the knuts.
Next you need to secure the backplate by placing it onto the rear of the motherboard with the insulation facing the motherboard, thread the screws through the holes and secure firm on the other side with the black rubber spacers.
Here you can see the black rubber spacers holding the backplate in position.
The final step is just to apply thermal paste and then attach the CPU cooler by screwing the backplate screws into the screw threads you attached to the brackets earlier.
RAM clearance is obstructed in the first slot so you will need lower profile RAM. On mini-ITX motherboards this will block RAM slots #1 and #2 so you will need low profile RAM all round. Not that this matters as low profile systems will probably use normal height or low profile RAM anyway.
Here is a closer look at that RAM clearance. As you can see ours was literally touching but it still worked fine.
