Scythe Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B, CPU cooler

  • The Scythe Kotetsu II – Thermal Throttling has it all
  • The compact Kotetsu Mark II CPU cooler offers numerous improvements over its predecessor. The features include: an overall height of just 154 mm , an asymmetrical design of the heat sink for maximum memory and graphics card compatibility, an optimized and user-friendly mounting system, and a 120 mm PWM fan from the award-winning Kaze Flex 120 series .
  • Four nickel-plated heatpipes and an embossed top plate ensure an attractive and valuable look. With its compact height of only 154 mm , the Kotetsu Mark II easily fits into all common standard PC cases. In order to guarantee smooth running and an average service life of 120,000 hours , theKotetsu Mark II uses a PWM fan from the award-winning Kaze Flex series.
  • High performance air cooling for gaming processors
  • The self-contained liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum thanks to a special oil film. Rubberized contact surfaces have a decoupling effect and prevent the transfer of vibrations to the heat sink. At full speed, the fan achieves an air flow rate of up to 86.9 m³/h and generates a static pressure of up to 1.5 mmH2O .
  • To ensure maximum compatibility, the heatsink of the Kotetsu Mark IInot centered directly above the base plate, but offset slightly to the rear and to the side. This asymmetrical design enables unrestricted use of the entire memory bank and also leaves enough space for large-format GPU coolers. Both the cooling block and the fan feature the iconic Scythe company logo with the scythes that give it its name – a clear declaration of war. Thermal throttling is the order of the day.
