Scythe are back with yet another budget friendly cooler, with a promise of high performance and great build quality. The Japanese based cooling company has proven they know how to make a great cooler for those on a tighter budget, and their new Tatsumi CPU cooler lets set to continue that trend.

Scythe has used the latest technologies such as the M.A.P.S fin structure and H.P.M.S. mounting system for the new Tatsumi, a welcome addition to a product intended for the budget market. Naturally the cooler comes with support for all major Intel and AMD  CPUs.

The Tatsumi clocks in at just 450 gram including fan, 102 x 146 x 83 mm (4.02 x 5.75 x 3.27 inch, incl. fan), a large nickel-plated copper baseplate, three U-shaped 6m copper heatpipes, an aluminium fin structure and a 92mm fan.  and benefits from over a decade of experience that Scythe apply to their product designs.

The Glide Stream 92 mm fan operates between 300 and 2.500 RPM via a PWM control and moves between 11,4 and 94,3 cubic meter per hour (6,70 to 55,55 CFM) at whisper quiet audible 7,2 to 31,07 dBA.

Scythe Tatsumi (model no. SCMGD-1000) is available as of today. Suggested MSRP is 21,60 EUR (excl. taxes).
