Sea of Thieves
Despite coming in somewhat under the radar, the hype train for Sea of Thieves is slowly, but surely, beginning to gather steam.
With this, in a report via DSOGaming, the official PC system requirements have now been revealed. The question is, can you run it?
Can you run it?
A quick cursory glance of the system required for the PC release, things so far are looking quite good for most PC gamers.
While 520p graphics isn’t very dazzling, the fact that this game can run on it with just an integrated graphics card is certainly rather impressive.
The higher end of the scale
When talking about the top-end of graphics specifications these days, the two key points are usually 4k resolution and 60fps. To achieve this Sea of Thieves obviously requires a fair bit of punch. While the processor might be quite benign, the recommended Nvidia 1080ti or AMD Vega is rather hefty but hardly surprising.
The middling specs though show that most people should have very little trouble playing this.
Release date!
Sea of Thieves is due for release on March 20th and so far, things are looking good for it. The beta feedback has generally been quite favourable and this could be one of the biggest under the radar hits of the year. Particularly considering that pirates are a genre not often used in video games. I personally have high hopes for this.
What do you think? Did you play the beta? What did you think? Are you planning on getting this game? – Let us know in the comments!
