Package and Accessories
Seagate’s series of portable drives come in familiar packaging. The front has the name, capacity, and a picture of the included drive printed along with a sticker which tells about the 1-year Mylio offer.
The rear side doesn’t feature a whole lot more information, only that it’s a small drive with massive storage in several languages.
The sides of the package tell about the compatibility and connection options. This is also where the sticker with information about the Adobe Photography plan is placed.
Enough of the exterior, let us get to what’s inside the packaging. The drive itself is securely packed which makes sure that it arrives in the customer’s hands in perfect condition.
Besides the drive itself, you’ll also find a short USB 3.0 cable. The length is perfect for laptops and other portable systems, but it can be a little short for some stationary systems. For example, if you only got free USB ports on the rear of the chassis, then the cable might be a bit short. On the other hand, you don’t have a rolled-up mess next to your laptop when used there. The cable is a default, so it can easily be replaced with a longer after-market cable, should you wish to do so.
Other than the drive and cable, you also get a quick start guide and guides on how to redeem the free software trials.
