Test Procedure
It can be difficult to benchmark an SSHD in order to show its true potential and it will be PCMark 8 and BootRacer that will show us best how effective such a drive can be. For comparison reasons and HDD comparison, I will include all the traditional benchmarks too. This includes Anvil’s Storage Benchmark, AS SSD, ATTO, and CDM
On the following pages, you will see benchmark screenshot of empty drives and drives filled with 75% data. Some benchmarks such as AIDA64 and IOmeter require to be run on an empty drive and as such, fillage tests aren’t possible with them. As for the other benchmarks, they will be run with a various data fillage from 0% to 75%.
