Seagate Game Drive PlayStation 5TB HDD Review

A Closer Look
It’s a nice-looking device, and Seagate has toned down the design here to a flat white colour that matches the aesthetic of the PlayStation 5 external panels.
They’ve had some outlandish ones in the past, such as the Beskar Mandalorian edition that was pretty fancy and came with RGB built-in. This one may be less “flashy” but honestly, I prefer this more mature aesthetic. If your console is in your living room, you want something that’s going to blend into that theme, and this does it well.
On the end, there’s the USB input, again, straightforward enough really. There’s also a small LED indicator that lights up in white, and a small strip of light on the front that lights up in PlayStation blue.
With it being officially licenced, Seagate has added the PlayStation logo in one corner and the Seagate logo in the other, which again, looks very smart.
On the reverse, it’s dark grey/black, clean and simple.
It’s not a heavy drive, so putting it in your backpack or a big pocket isn’t too much trouble, and not bad at all given it has a 5TB capacity.
