This drive is based on the standard Gaming FireCuda 2 TB hard drive, albeit, they’re basically the same but they put a new exterior on it. With that in mind, the performance is unsurprisingly about the same as that drive. There are some differences though, there are so many tiny factors that can change performance figures. For example, the last one I tested peaked around 135 MB/s but this one is just a little bit faster today, reaching just shy of 146 MB/s.
Again, we see similar performance throughout testing in ATTO and Anvil. There are no surprises here, and the drive is performing right on the money.
