It can be difficult to benchmark an SSHD in order to show its true potential and it will be PCMark 8 and BootRacer that will show us best how effective such a drive can be. I’ve still chosen to include all the other benchmarks as they still give a base for comparison even though they don’t show the drives real strength.
On the following pages, I’ll be showing the screenshot of a drive filled 75% with data where it is possible. Some benchmarks require me to run it off an unpartitioned drive, hence I can not fill it with data. The benchmarks that allow me to fill the drive with data will be performed with 0%, 25%, 50%, and 75% data on the drive.
