The box is fairly compact but feels plenty durable, so the HDD inside should be well protected. The box details that it uses 30% post-consumer plastics (in the product) while the box and packaging are completely recyclable too.
They’ve got a picture of it in the woods to show how green it is I guess, made me chuckle but I can see what they’re doing with this idea. On the back, you can see the features such as encryption and Type-C support.
The inner box is a two-part carton and lid design with lots of crumple zones and air gaps for added protection.
The drive is snug in the middle, with a recyclable plastic sleeve, and the cable stored nearly under it.
