Seasonic is one of the biggest and best known PSU manufacturers in the world and they were eager to show off their latest and greatest units at this years Computex. The new 550FC offers up 80 Plus Gold efficiency, high-quality Japanese capacitors, hybrid silent fan control and more, making it a well rounded option for an affordable PSU.
The FM offers up the same features, but with a semi-modular design, making it better for those who need a focus on cable management.
The FX is the same again, but switching up to fully modular, giving you three great solutions to choose from.
As the name would suggest, the Prime Gold series is a little more high-end. The 1000 offers up 80 Plus Gold efficiency, high-performance capacitors, excellent voltage regulation, hybrid fan control, and more.
For those who need more grunt, the 1200 offers the same high-end features, but ups the power to 1200W and the efficiency makes a leap to Platinum.
While not as powerful, stepping down to 850W (more than enough for most builds), the PRIME Titanium 850 is a seriously good PSU, offering up the hybrid fan, but also adding low ripple, extended hold-up time, 80 Plus Titanium rating, and a fully modular design.
Platinum efficiency is impressive, but it’s even more so in the new 520W Platinum series unit as it’s completely fanless and passively cooled, meaning it’s going to be completely silent!
The new Snow Silent 750W looks great, and is whisper quiet.
Platinum efficiency, fully modular, and more, this is a great contender for those looking for an all-white system build.
