Jakob Aylesbury / 9 months ago
The 12VHPWR connector is a touchy subject due to its several flaws but it has since been updated to 12V-2×6 which should fix some of the issues surrounding this connector. Seasonic has made use of this new standard and released a new native 12V-2×6 cable for RTX 40 GPUs.
Seasonic Native 12V-2×6 Cable
This new cable from Seasonic can be connected to any of the company’s existing ATX 3 power supplies and should offer better protection against burning issues than the original 12VHPWR cable. It is constructed out of high-quality materials, such as high current terminal connectors and 16 AWG wires to ensure the highest performance and safety in usage.
