According to a report by Android Central the new second revision or refresh of the Nexus 7 will start at $229.99.
The price starts at $229.99 for the 16GB version while the 32GB model is $40 more at $269.99.
The rumoured specifications of the second generation Nexus 7, storage aside, are a Snapdragon 600 quad core processor, 5MP camera, possibly a 1080p display and apparently a new updated Android 4.3 OS.
Currently the 32GB Nexus 7 generation 1 tablet costs $249.99 and $199.99 for the 16GB model. This makes the newer ones only a fraction more expensive to the tune of $30 for the 16GB and $20 for the 32GB. If the rumoured hardware upgrades prove to be true the Nexus 7 second generation tablet could be one of the best value small form factor tablets on the market (Chinese white-box imports aside).
