BBC current affairs programme Panorama has released footage of Apple factory workers in China being worked to the point of exhaustion, with some staff even falling asleep on the job.
Apple has been plagued by accusations of exploitation of its employees in China for many years, but the company has always insisted that takes protection of workers’ rights very important.
One of the BBC’s undercover reporters, posing as a member of staff, was forced to work for 18 days straight with no days off.
Apple claim they will investigate any concerns.
