Sharkoon Bulldozer ATX Chassis Review

Exterior

The chassis features a very aggressive design with lumps and bumps all over it that really make it stand out. There is a clear side panel window that gives us a great view of the interior and as you can see, it features a bright green internal paint job that matches the green LED lighting of the model we are reviewing. The side panel is held in place by a pair of thumb screws, but also features a small plastic handle at the back that allows for easy removal of the side panel.

The right side panel features the same shape raised section as the left, but of course doesn’t feature a window. This does however allow more room behind the motherboard for cable routing.

The front panel features a very unique shape to it, with dual LED lights at the top, one in the left corner, one in the right. There are two removable mesh covers at the top for 5.25″ drive bays, but the lower half is a solid section that acts as the air intake for the front mounted fans.

Here we see a pair of USB 3.0, a welcome feature given that many budget models feature a single USB 3.0 port. HD audio connections and two USB 2.0 ports. Below that we have the master power button on the right hand side.

Around the back we see a pre-installed 120mm fan at the top, with two large cable routing holes below it, seven reusable and ventilated expansion slot covers, all finished in a stunning green, some extra ventilation to the right and a bottom mounted PSU cut-out.

The top panel is slightly raised and features room to install 2 x 120mm, 2 x 140mm or a single 180mm fan.

The base of the chassis features a simple clip in mesh dust filters, not the best but certainly better than no dust filters at all. There is room for an extra 120mm fan in the centre, while some holes on the right allow you to directly mount a single 2.5″ drive to the base of the chassis interior. There are four large plastic feet with rubber bases that should provide a stable base for the system.
