Final Thoughts

Total build time on the Bulldozer was 25 minutes and proved pretty straightforward overall. There were a few minor snags along the way but nothing I wouldn’t expect from a chassis of this size, or price range. Cable routing doesn’t look fantastic and space was a factor in this respect. However, it still does its job as intended and keeps the bulk of the build looking clean, while making sure there are no excess cables compromising our airflow. Those using a non-modular power supply may need to take extra care to bundle their cables tightly behind the motherboard.

Space is limited in the back but we still managed to fit out H80i, I was hoping to install the H100i 240mm radiator in the top but it conflicted with the top of the motherboard and that space should really only be used for cooling fans. The H80i did have to be mounted with the block at 90 degrees, but this is hardly a big deal. The GTX 560 Ti we’ve installed has plenty of room to breath and didn’t even come close to conflicting with the hard drive bays, easily room for a bigger graphics card here and more than enough space for an SLI / Crossfire configuration.

The hard drive bays are really easy to use, just clip on a pair of mounting rails to your drives and slide them into place. This allows for a quick and tool free installation / removal of your drives and was a very welcome feature.

Having fan mounts in the top is great for improving air flow, but just keep in mind this space will not be suitable for radiator installations, however a low RPM 180mm fan could be the best option as it would help keep airflow high and noise low.

Now that the build is complete we see that the side panel does a good job of hiding the cable routing, leaving us with a nice view of the GPU and motherboard, great for showing of your new gaming rig.
