Sharkoon DarkGlider Gaming Mouse Review

The Sharkoon DarkGlider comes with a driver and software CD, although most systems (i.e Windows 7 machines), will automatically install the basic drivers for the mouse, you’ll just have to install the software in order to change the configuration. The software is very simple to setup, just having to click through the installer. Once installed any changes made in the settings will be saved to the DarkGlider’s onboard memory.
The first page is for the button mapping so you can change all the buttons if need be. There are also five different profiles, which can easily be cycled through on the fly.
The next tab allows you to control the DPI stepping for when you use the on the fly DPI changing buttons.
The third tab is where you can change the colour of the back light, it’s intensity and whether you want it to pulse or not.
The final important tab allows you to fiddle with the much more advance settings, such as the sensitivity, speed, click speed and polling rate.
