Sharkoon has just unleashed their new M30 Black and the M30 RGB PC cases! Sharkoon’s new models, follow on from their popular M25 series. The M30 Black and the M30 RGB have one obvious difference, and while the RGB-less version will work great in the work environment, those wanting something more colourful for their gaming setup will likely favour the RGB version.
Both the M30 Black and the M30 RGB have an elegant, rather minimalist appearance with a clearly purposeful design. The centre of attention is the front panel with rounded edges and a large perforated, mesh surface that should enable a strong airflow. Near the front of the top panel, both cases have a modern USB Type-C connection for fast data transfer. There is also a generous amount of options for cooling: Each case offers space for up to seven 120-millimetre fans, and if the installation of a water-cooling system is desired, there is enough room for a radiator with up to 360 millimetres either under the top of the case or behind the front panel.
Two new SilentStorm BW120 PWM fans are already pre-installed inside the windowless M30 Black: one on the rear panel and one behind the front panel. The fans, which are also offered separately by the manufacturer, completely do without RGB illumination and are designed for operation in work environments thanks to their fluid dynamic bearing, adjustable 1,400 revolutions per minute, and interchangeable vibration dampers in black and white.
As with the M30 Black, the RGB version also has a SilentStorm BW120 PWM fan behind the front panel. However, the rear panel has been equipped with a 120-millimetre PWM fan which has addressable RGB LEDs that can be controlled via the included RGB controller to provide effects and adjust the color. The built-in hardware components can then shine through the side panel made of tempered glass.
Both case versions offer space for graphics cards with a length of up to 38 centimetres, and there is room for a CPU cooler with a height of up to 17.2 centimetres as well as a power supply unit with a length of up to 22 centimetres. In addition, a total of two 3.5-inch hard drives or four 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed.
The M30 Black midi-ATX case is now available at the manufacturer’s suggested price of 69.90 euros, and the SilentStorm BW120 PWM fan for 8.99 euros. The M30 RGB case is available at the manufacturer’s suggested price of 79.90 euros.
