Sharkoon Reveals Mid-Tower Case With Wood Aesthetic

Clearly taking some inspiration from the Fractal North, Sharkoon has revealed their new Rebel C70 RGB mid-tower case featuring a Norwegian Wood front panel as well as options for either a tempered glass side panel or mesh side panel.

Sharkoon Rebel C70 RGB

The C70 RGB is a mid tower case sporting an elegant wood design on its front panel joining in on the newest trend of incorporating wood into our PC builds. Aside from the wood front panel, it also takes some inspiration again from the Fractal North as the case is available in two variants, the C70G with a tempered glass side panel, and the C70M with a mesh side panel. The rest of the case sticks to many of the current PC case design trends including motherboard tray side fan mounts and lots of cable management room.

Cooling Support

The case comes pre-installed with a total of four 120mm ARGB fans in the front panel and rear which sets the case up for cooling right out of the box. In total users can fit either 3x 120 or 140mm fans in the front, 4x 120mm fans in the side, 3x 120 or 2x 140 in the top, and 1x 120 in the rear. Users can also fit up to a 360mm radiator though not a 420mm as the side panel would have you believe, likely due to clearance with the PSU chamber.

Hardware Compatibility

Users can fit a strong amount of hardware in this case with up to ATX motherboards featuring 165mm of CPU cooler clearance. Pretty much any graphics card can fit in here with up to 400mm of clearance plus the case includes a graphics card holder. The same goes for PSUs with 270mm of clearance allowing plenty of room for cramming of cables. When it comes to storage there is 3x 3.5″ bays which double as 2.5″ bays.

Where Can I Learn More?

Personally i’m not a fan of the wood aesthetic, but I do quite like the mesh side panel, if you would like to learn more visit the product pages for the Rebel C70G and Rebel C70M
