Sharkoon has today revealed its new VS8 and VS9 PC cases with a minimalist style and targeting themselves as a bang-for-the-buck option.
The Sharkoon VS8 and VS9 are minimalist cases capable of fitting in both gaming setups and office or home office setups. They come in several variants including a standard one with a solid side panel or RGB variants with a tempered glass side panel and ARGB fans, both of these variants are available in white or black. The cases are of a similar size however differ by the design of their front panels. The VS8 features a more solid panel with a skewed checkerboard design with side ventilation whilst the VS9 offers a focused airflow design with dotted holes. Both cases come with a solid front I/O with two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port and mic and headphone jacks.
For the non-RGB variants, the cases come with a single 120mm fan in the rear of the case whilst the RGB variants feature two 120mm RGB fans on the front and a third on the rear. In total, the cases can be equipped with three 120mm in the front, one 120mm in the back and two 120mm or 140mm in the top. For water-cooling there is room for up to a 360mm radiator in the front and 280mm radiator in the top.
Despite its smaller dimensions of 32.3 x 20.5 x 48.5cm these cases are still capable of fitting larger hardware components with up to 350mm graphics cards. 158mm CPU coolers, 210mm PSUs and up to ATX motherboards. For storage options there is room for up to two 3.5-inch HDDs and four 2.5-inch SSDs giving plenty of choice for storage.
The VS8 and the VS9, both in black, are now available at the manufacturer’s suggested price of 44.90 euros. The VS8 RGB and the VS9 RGB, both in black or white, are now available at the manufacturer’s suggested price of 59.90 euros.
