Featuring an asymmetrical design that allows both right-handed and left-handed gamers to use it without any issues, the Shark Zone M50 gaming mouse was unveiled not too long ago by Sharkoon. This new peripheral comes with yellow LED lighting and with an eye-catching yellow cable, but its most important highlights are actually related to its internals.
We’re talking about a relatively impressive Avago ADNS-9800 sensor with up to 8,200 DPI and a 1,000 Hz polling rate, to say nothing of the lift-off distance, which varies between one and five millimeters. The mouse can be customized thanks to a series of interchangeable side panels, while the Omron switches located in the buttons guarantee much-needed longevity.
Speaking of buttons, the Shark Zone M50 includes seven of them in total, all of which are completely programmable. The software that accompanies the product allows the user to modify the polling rate, DPI, scroll speed, double-click speed, axis sensitivity and angle snapping. More complex key combinations can be programmed using macros, while complete gaming profiles can be saved in the mouse’s onboard memory. All of these features sound quite impressive, especially for a mouse that has a suggested retail price of €39.99.
