As you may already be able to tell, I’m very pleased with this case from Sharkoon, while I know of the brand I have never seen one of their cases my self, so I didn’t really know what to expect with this one. I was expecting a much lower overall quality with this case, that’s not to say I was expecting it to be bad, but at this price range you tend to find a few extra rough edges or a few features being left out of the deal to help keep the cost down, but that really isn’t the case here.
Build quality is good throughout, everything fits nicely first time, with no noticeable squeaks and rattles either while installing components or when powering up the system so a big win for Sharkoon there.
The overall style of this thing is brilliant, even when its something as simple as a coat of blue paint, its that little extra effort that makes all the difference, plus if your able to colour match it to your components it can really make your system stand out.
For this price range I was impressed that this case provided competent solutions for cable management as well as space enough to fit a large water cooler for the CPU, quick release hard drive bays for our SSD as well as removable hard drive cages for your mechanical hard drives.
Its because of all this that I am happy to award the Sharkoon T28 our Bang for Buck award, to get so much into a small case for just over £50 is quite an achievement, this case can quite happily give the competition a run for its money both in the same price range and with cases that tend to cost 50% more.
