Installation and Sound Quality Connecting up the headset is very straight forward on both a pc and an Xbox 360. On the pc, you simply plug in all three of the connectors (USB and 2x 3.5mm jacks) and you’re ready to go.
For use on your Xbox, you are supplied with a twin phono to 3.5mm socket, which plugs into the back of your tv inline with the audio jacks from the Xbox.
Plugging in the microphone is also a simple affair, simply locate the mic into the socket on teh base of the left hand ear cup and rotate through 90º to lock it into place, The boom can then be moved into position for optimum sound clarity.
The headset was tested with a range of audio sources such as games, music and video. Each audio source gave consistent results in terms of sound quality and balance between bass, mid tones and treble. Little to no distortion is heard though a little static noise can be heard.
