Sharp releases 4K 32-Inch IGZO PN-K321 LCD panel for $5,500

With a thickness of 35mm, Sharp releases PN-K321 -a  professional-grade 32-Inch panel with a 4K/ 3,840 x 2160 resolution. The panel comes with 137 PPI pixel density as pointed out by Slashgear.

The panel uses DisplayPort and HDMI as input. Sharp says that this is the thinnest 4K panel in the market because the panel uses Indium gallium zinc oxide (hencce IGZO) technology.
Sharp plans to use IGZO in number of their tablets and smartphones- most likely will feature them in CES 2013.

The panel is very expensive, but its just a matter of atleast couple of years for such panels will go mainstream and hence a significant price drop.
