ShellShock Live Reduces Price and Adds 3 New Game Modes

If you are a fan of games such as Scorched Earth, Death Tank, and Worms, then ShellShock might be a great game to pick up, especially as they’ve just dropped the price with the latest update.

The game was originally a Flash game, but it has now been ported for Steam and works on both Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. It might not sport the best of graphics, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a great game. The user reviews are very positive despite the game still being in Early access.

ShellShock is a multiplayer game with a simple mission: Use your tanks to blow up your enemies tanks. To do that you have a wide variety of weapons that have to be unlocked. There are over 200 unique upgradeable weapons in this 8-player multiplayer game that also features 100+ ranks and fully customizable and upgradeable tanks.

The latest update, version 0.9.1.7, features three new game modes: Assassin mode, Juggernaut, and Points. In Assassins mode you have to kill a specific target while others can’t be damaged, In Juggernaut it’s one vs seven players but you get extra health to fight the extra amount of enemies, while Points is a mode where you don’t play for death but rather get points for hitting enemies and the winner is the one that accumulates the most during the match.

ShellShock Live is available on Steam Early Access for €6.99 now or you can get a four-pack for €19.99 and send three keys to your friends.

Kyle Champ, founder of kChamp Games said, “It’s been quite a trip from the initial launch of the Flash version of ShellShock Live way back in 2011 to now. With the Steam version almost at Version 1.0, and thanks to the feedback from the community, I’ve set my sights on making it one of the most memorable multiplayer experiences on Windows, Mac, and Linux”
