Introduction
Shuttle are back on eTeknix again today, as we prepare to take a look at their latest barebones system, the XH110V, and while that may not be the catchiest product name ever, it’s certainly something we’re excited to test. The XH110V is an ultra compact system designed to be an easily deployable workstation, HTPC and well, any system you require that’s compact and powerful.
The Shuttle XH110V comes with the chassis, and a pre-installed power supply, motherboard and a few other basics such as a CPU cooler. All you have to do is install a CPU, memory, and hard drive(s), and you’re good to go. The motherboard comes equipped with the Intel H110 Express Chipset, meaning you’ll have support for a wide range of Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs of up to 65W on socket LGA 1151. There’s also support for 1600 Mhz DDR 3L, SATA hard drives, etc. Connectivity is a key focus here too, with dual Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 and 2.0, as well as HD audio, DisplayPort and HDMI with support for 4K.
The packaging is nice and compact, nothing too fancy, but there’s a simple carry handle at the top, making it convenient for storing and transporting the system.
In the box, you’ll find all the user guides to help you get everything installed and ready to rock. They’re all laid out well and in full colour, making them much easier to understand.
In the box, you’ll also find a mains power adaptor, software disc, a tube of thermal paste, screws, and the CPU socket cover.
