Sid Meiers Civilization, the historical turn-based strategy game series is celebrating its 32nd anniversary with a new update for consoles.
Sid Meiers Civilization’s first video game was launched in 1991 based on the original board game released back in 1980. Since then the series has developed over time with various iterations leading to the most recent Civilization VI which launched in 2016. Next month the franchise celebrates its 32nd anniversary and with that, they are now offering the Civilization VI: Leader Pass on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch which is included within the Anthology bundle or purchased separately. The leader pass will introduce 12 leaders brand new to the game as well as 6 new takes on classic leaders.
The only Civilization game i’ve played is Civ V and that was a good while ago, I’ve been looking for an excuse to play it again but I’d rather not play with my friends who manage to get nukes before I’ve even unlocked gunpowder. Either I’m really bad or they’re just ridiculous.
