Sierra Entertainment Classics Re-released on Steam!

Sierra Entertainment Classics Re-released on Steam!

Remember when gaming was all about the point-and-click adventuring of Sierra Entertainment? We sure do! If you want to re-live some of the classic days of gaming from your youth, or even just take a bit of a gaming history lesson, then today is the perfect day to do so.

The now 37-year-old gaming studio hit Steam this week, bringing many of the classic adventure games to the digital platform ready for you to download and enjoy again. This is no doubt the latest step in the brand being revived by Activision Blizzard, and they’ve been steadily rebooting and re-releasing their games since 2014, such as the episodic reboot of King’s Quest last year.

Check out the epic list of games that have been released. How many have you played in the past?

  • Police Quest Collection
  • Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
  • Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within
  • Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned
  • Arcanum – Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura
  • Quest for Glory Collection
  • Phantasmagoria
  • Phantasmagoria 2
  • Caesar 3
  • Caesar 4

Prices are pretty decent too, with the entire Quest for Glory collection clocking in around $10. Of course, many of these have been available on GoG.com for a while, where you’ll find they’re DRM free, but this is the first time they’ve hit the much more popular Steam service, where they’re sure to reach a wider audience.
