Airflow-Oriented Case with Tempered Glass
SilentiumPC is announcing their new Regnum RG2 TG Pure Black chassis. As you might have guessed, the TG stands for “tempered glass” and the ‘Pure Black’ is for its colour and lack of RGB LED features. The spacious mid-tower features a high-airflow design, with a fully ventilated front panel.
This front panel has a dust filter to prevent dirt build up. Unlike most mid-tower cases these days, the Regnum RG2 also happens to have a 5.25″ external drive bay.
In terms of component support, since there is no HDD cage on the main chamber, users can fit video cards up to 380mm in length. CPU coolers can be up to 160mm tall, and PSU length can be up to 250mm. This PSU is also covered in a full length shroud. So cable management is not a problem since you can just hide all the extras underneath.
The chassis also has the basic liquid cooling radiator support for up to 240mm up front. Two fans are already included out of the box: a single 120mm for intake and another 120mm for exhaust at the back. Both are Sigma PRO 120 models from SilentiumPC. The front actually supports up to three 120mm fans since fan mounting extends down to the PSU shroud.
As for the IO, it comes with a standard pair of USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, as well as audio jacks for a microphone and a headphone. Furthermore, some users will also be glad to hear that an integrated SD card reader is built-in.
How Much is the SilentiumPC Regnum RG2 TG Pure Black?
The Regnum RG2 TG is going to be available soon for only 39.90 EUR (MSRP, incl. VAT).
