SilentiumPC Fortis 3 RGB (HE1425) Air Cooler – Review

Performance
Given that the Silentium PC Fortis 3 is a (relatively speaking) budget-focused air cooler, we didn’t expect amazing results from it, but in truth, it did a lot better than we initially expected.
While the stock and overclocked temperatures are pretty standard, the noise control is absolutely amazing. As you can see in our test results, when overclocked, the Fortis 3 is one of the quietest coolers we have encountered. Admittedly, the logical response is that the fan was just running at its maximum preset speed. It may, however, also simply just be indicative of the (notably high) 78.6 CFM airflow and the hydraulic bearing design.
