SilentiumPC Spartan 4 MAX EVO ARGB Cooler Review

How Much Does it Cost?
Somewhat surprisingly, despite this effectively representing a more ‘upscale’ version of the base model, the SilentiumPC Spartan 4 MAX EVO ARGB is currently less expensive than the standard ‘Spartan 4’ non-RGB cooler. With it currently available to purchase at a price between £18-£22, while this not entirely surprising based on this being an entry-level cooling solution, it is still much lower than we anticipated for a model that includes ARGB compatible lighting effects and that, quite frankly, performs as decently as this one did.
Overview
Despite the low-price of the Spartan 4 MAX EVO ARGB, there is nothing within the design or components to suggest that SilentiumPC has spared any expense with this cooler. Put simply, it’s mildly remarkable that they’re able to both produce and sell this, at a profit, for only around £20. Better still, the fact that as a cooler it’s more than competent at it’s job while being amazingly quiet.
This isn’t a high-spec performer and, quite frankly, we never expected it to be. Let’s be honest though, for the performance offered, the build quality, and for the money it costs, this is probably a lot better than many of you were expecting.
Should I Buy One?
Admittedly, in terms of entry level coolers there are probably more products available on the market now than even the widest consumer based could possibly need and, as such, the chances are that in the grand scheme of things, the SilentiumPC Spartan 4 MAX EVO ARGB will likely slip under the radar for many people. If this cooler does come to your attention, however, I promise you that as an inexpensive cooling solution with some genuinely nice quality ARGB lighting effects, this definitely not only represents a more than competant design, but in terms of acoustic performance and aesthetics, this is truly some excellent value for money!
If I was making a budget PC build and needed something fancy, good, quiet, but inexpensive, this would undoubtedly be my choice because at this price point, you rarely see all those factors combined!
