Silicon Power Blaze B50 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

CrystalDiskMark

CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random 4KB/512KB read/write speeds.

Drive Performance

CrystalDiskMark showed us the best benchmark results on the Silicon Power Blaze B50, a somewhat surprising result. With close to 240MB/s reading and 60-75MB/s writing, the drive did extremely well.

Drive Comparison

For the purpose of drive comparison, I will be using the performance figures from both unconditioned and conditioned tests with 0% data-fill. We see the same story as with the previous tests, the SP Blaze B50 places itself firmly on top of other tested flash drives and USB 3.0 storage, only beaten by external SSDs.
