SilverStone Announces Precision Series PS12 Micro-ATX Chassis

SilverStone announced a new entry to the Precision series, the PS12 Micro-ATX chassis. The PS12 was created with the goal of exceeding user experience and expectation for affordable PC chassis by offering a wide range of features and complete it off with great build quality.

The SilverStone PS12 offers two external 5.25-inch drive bays as well as four internal 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch drive bays. The is one 120mm fan included and mounted in the front where you also can mount an 80mm fan. The rear or the chassis can hold an 80mm or 92mm fan while the side panel features oversized vents. Overall, plenty of cooling for a small chassis.

You can mount Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards in this chassis and it takes normal PS2/ATX sized power supplies. It is compatible with expansion cards, IE graphics cards, with a length of up to 14.1-inch, allowing you to use even bigger graphics cards.

The CPU cooler has to stay within the 140mm height specifications, but there are quite a few to pick from in a size up to that. You get two front USB 3.0 ports as well as headset connectors. Overall, everything you want from a chassis without having to pay a premium for something that just needs to work.

SilverStone also added removable fan filter, created the PS12 with all black painted interior, and a CPU backplate cutout. The recommended end user price for the SilverStone PS12 is set to $45 USD excl. VAT and it will be available on November the 25th.
