SilverStone Announces Primera PM02 Mid-Tower Case
Ron Perillo / 7 years ago
SilverStone is adding another mid-tower chassis to their Primera case line up. This time it is the Primera PM02 and a full-tempered glass side panel. Unlike the Primera PM01, the PM02’s design is boxier although it boasts certain unique features all its own. The power indicator LED for example is a projection of the SilverStone logo at the bottom. There are no logos on the external body of the case itself, but users can see the brand name on the desk or on the floor in front of the case.
Primera PM02 Features
The Primera PM02 is available in a black or white variant, with differing LED colors as well. Red LED for black and blue LED for white. There are no 5.25-inch external drive bays, but the entire front has vertical perforation slits for airflow intake. There are also no visible HDD mounting cages on the main chamber. However, there are three available within the PSU cover. The result is a cleaner look for cabling with plenty of room for storing extra cables at the back.
The ceiling of the case itself does not leave too much room for any radiator mounting. However, users can install up to 360mm radiators at the front, as well as 120 or 240mm radiators. 2.5-inch drive mounting is actually behind the tray panel with room for three devices.
In terms of component clearance, power supplies up to 190mm long is supported. CPU coolers can be as tall as 167mm and it would still fit. Meanwhile, video cards and expansion cards can be up to 415mm long and 174mm wide.
