Silverstone DA1000R 1000W Cybernetics Gold ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 PSU Review

Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

Pushing the OPP to its limits this PSU managed to draw significantly above its 1000W rating, with the OPP not kicking in until 1286.9 watts. Now, for a power spike, that’s no problem, but it bodes well for those of you who plan on putting around 1000W consistently. However, if that’s your plan, I would suggest you get a more powerful PSU, but honestly, this PSU will do it if you need it to.
