Here we are once again at the Silverstone booth at CeBIT 2014 and out on display we have four great chassis products, two existing ones and two more that will be hitting the market very soon. The PS09 is something we’ve already seen here at eTeknix and you can read our full review right here and the larger PS10 is fairly similar, but offering up more space and room for ATX motherboards Vs the PS09’s Micro-ATX motherboard support. What were really interested in are the two big cases on the right, the first being the Silverstone RV05 and the second being the FT05.
The RV05 is Silverstones latest entry to their Raven series, which I think is one of the most epic and unique chassis ranges on the market today, to give you an idea of what I mean you can read our review of the RV01, RV04-B and the RVZ01. The RV05 features a smaller exterior form factor that it’s older brothers, but still has a lot of space on the interior thanks to its innovative design. We actually saw a little of this case back in January at CES 2014 and we really can’t wait to get one in for review.
The FT05 is the latest entry in the Fortress series, which again features much of the innovation and extreme performance of the Raven, but with a much bolder and cleaner design. While on some levels this is the same case on the interior, it’s most certainly aimed at a different part of the market. Just check out our FT04 review to see how great these chassis can be, if that isn’t enough to get you excited about the FT05, then nothing will be.
We’ve got even more coverage from the Silverstone booth at CeBIT 2014 on its way, so stay tuned for more updates from here and from the rest of the show.
