A Closer Look
The top part is really nicely designed with sweeping curves from front to back.
On the underside you’ll a small recess with four screw holes so it can be fitted to the rear arm.
The arm has a sweeping curve to the front and a straight back. Just like the top panel it’s made from a thick and heavy piece of aluminium.
The base of the unit is the heaviest part by far, there is no chance this thing is going to move around on your desk! It’s quite faint and hard to photograph, but if you look closely you can see it says “SilverStone” on the top of the base. The front edge of the base has been given a polished finish which contrasts nicely with the slightly rough sand-blasted feel of the rest of the stand.
There are four rubber grips on the base, although one is currently removed to allow you to screw the unit together.
