Installation and Performance
Putting the stand together is rather simple, it is only three pieces after all! The arm screws into the base with the two long screws and the rubber pad goes over the screw hole to hide them.
The top bar screws into the arm with four small screw, you’ll notice that all screws are located in such a way that you won’t be able to see them once the unit is upright.
The finished product; looking good!
The stand certainly looks good and my Mionix Nash 20 hangs nicely over it. The wide top part of the stand is very good as it helps distribute the weight of your headset, so it shouldn’t leave an indentation in your headsets padding when you take it off the stand.
As I said before, the EBA01 is designed as part of their high-end audio products range; it matches up with the design of their AMP and DAC combo very nicely.
If you’re spending a few hundred on the amp and the DAC, it’s really only a small investment to get the matching headphone stand; worth every penny in my opinion.
The long top section is designed to hold up to two headsets at a time. This suits me perfectly as I’ve usually got my own headset, plus the latest on I am reviewing on my desk; now I have somewhere to keep them both.
