Out of the box we get our first look at the chassis, it’s immediately apparent that this thing looks fantastic, at least in my opinion, with the front panel finished in brushed black aluminium, it seems almost a shame to have the silver key lock in the centre, this would have looked stunning with a featureless front panel. You’ll also notice in the top left there is the SilverStone logo, as well as the small power LED and button in the bottom right corner.
Unlock the front panel and you’re able to fold down the cover, behind which you will find a black plastic panel, with removable panels for the optical drives, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, headphone and microphone sockets, plus the power and reset buttons.
There is plenty going on underneath this chassis two, with two large removable air filters, behind which you can see two of the pre-installed fans, as well as the 4 sturdy padded feet that with help prevent vibrations and also provides a little clearance on the underside for some airflow.
The left side of the chassis has another removable air filter, this time for the power supply, you can also see a large ventilation slot on the top of the chassis which of course helps with overall air flow too.
The right side of the chassis has a further 2 fan mounting points, with one pre-installed, again covered by a removable air filter.
The rear of the chassis has room for 2 x 80mm fans and has 7 + 1 expansion slots, each of which is ventilated to further aid with air flow.
