SilverStone is launching one of the several cases they had on showcase at Computex 2017. This time it is the latest in the Redline series called the RL07. The mid-tower chassis is available in either black with red accent or white with black accent. Both offer a full-view tempered glass side panel for the left side, and a clean external bay-less front panel.
The internal design follows many of the current mid-tower trends. This includes a PSU shroud compartment and minimal HDD mounting inside it. In fact, the 3.5-inch HDD cage supports three. The PSU shroud allows users to store extra cables and keep it out of sight from the main compartment in view. The 2.5-inch mounting area instead is vertically mounted behind the panel tray. Users can mount three 2.5-inch drives here.
In terms of ventilation, the front area supports up to three 120mm or 140mm fans. Another 120mm or 140mm is at the rear. The RL07 actually comes with a 140mm fan for exhaust already out of the box. In terms of CPU cooler clearance, users can use heatsinks up to 165mm tall. Video cards can be up to 415mm long since there is no HDD cage on the way.
