SilverStone ML09 Mini-ITX HTPC Chassis Review

A Closer Look – Exterior
The first thing that catches your eye about this chassis is that front panel, which comes with a glossy black finish that gives it a nice premium quality look. Tucked in the corner, you’ll find the power controls, but no USB ports, helping keep the front panel relatively clutter free.
Don’t worry though, as you’ll find two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio ports down the left side for connectivity. There’s a good amount of ventilation on the side too, giving you room to mount two small fans should you need them.
A solid panel on the right, nothing too fancy.
Around the back, you can see just how small this chassis really is, with an SFX PSU mount on the left, mini-ITX motherboard cut-out in the middle, and two half-size PCI-E expansion slots on the right; just enough for a slim video card or networking adapter.
A good amount of ventilation on the top, giving airflow to the motherboard, CPU and PSU.
A flat base, nothing of major interest here.
